Broiler exhibitors may pick up their broilers at the Extension Office after lunch.
Market and Pee Wee rabbits will be tattooed and validated on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at the new Multi-Purpose Bldg at the Refugio County Fairgrounds. Validation starts at 4:30PM. You must be in line by 5:30PM to get your rabbits validated. Each market exhibitor may show 2 pens of 3 fryers but extra rabbits may be validated. The online entry system for livestock exhibitors is now open to register and pay for livestock entries for the Refugio County Jr Livestock Show. The website is: https://refugio.fairwire.com The deadline to enter is Friday, February 28, 2025 to avoid late fees. Per the Fair Rule Book, rule #2 on page 5: Late entries will be accepted until 5PM on Monday, March 3, 2025, however, a $100 late entry fee per entry plus the entry fees will be accessed. Refugio County Fair Expo Building Entries are $2 per youth and $5 per adult. Late fee of $10 added per person. Entry Cards and Rule Books can be picked up at the Extension Office.
Please bring shovels, weed eaters, wheel barrows and any tools necessary to clean up the fairgrounds. Be sure to sign in with the Superintendents.
Check-In Projects - Sift & Classify from 5-7PM. Poultry Show starts at 7:30PM.
