County Steer Validation

If your child will show a steer in the 2022 Refugio County Jr. Livestock Show, please contact the Extension Office by 5PM on Thursday, August 19, 2021.

These steers will ONLY be eligible to show in the Refugio County Jr. Livestock Show (NOT in any major shows).

Validation tags are free, we just need to know who plans to validate county only steers.

County Steer Validation will be Monday, August 30, 2021 at the fairgrounds.

You do not need to validate again if you validated steers for Major Shows.
